Our
favorite magic books are magic biographies. One gets to know legendary
figures in magic, travel and perform with them, and relive their
many adventures.
This
is so far,
THE DEFINITIVE BIOGRAPHY ON HARRY KELLAR.

Mike Caveney
is the author and publisher of many historical biographies of magicians.
Some which include Carter, Servais Leroy, P.T. Selbit, etc. If you
have ever read any of his books, you know how meticulous he is and
how much attention to detail goes into a project. We just started
to read this book and cannot put it down. It is one of the best researched
biographies of this magician who was one of the top performers of
all time. The research is based on all the primary sources the authors
could find - newspapers, programs, posters, letters. It is impressive.
Bill Miesel
spent 30 years of his life gathering a lot of this information. This
book includes a complete timeline of Kellar's life - of every single
location he performed between 1873 - 1908. Amazing!
This
book is massive: It weighs 6 pounds, and it is 584 pages long.
